Carpe Diem

It's Officially Summer Break 2010.

I just finished my freshman year of high school. Although I have met many wonderful people this school year, it couldn't be more of a relief to get 10 weeks off. No more books, teachers, assignments, projects, and worrying about completing them all.

I'm ready to enjoy this summer vacation. I have a couple things planned. Including...

  • Build my modeling portfolio

  • Go to the beach (OF COURSE!)

  • Learn to drive

  • Volunteer

  • Make my way to either ALT, NYC, or LA

  • Work my butt off at the gym

  • Try out yoga

  • ...And constantly update this blog.

I hope that through this blog i will accomplish all my goals for the summer and at the same time, inspire others to do so for themselves.

"Carpe Diem." This popular Latin phrase is often translated as "seize the day," which is exactly what I want to do everyday of every week of this summer. I wish to make the most of my time and let no opportunity pass me by.

And I would like to end my first post be saying "Namaste." This salutation is particularly associated with aspects of Indian culture such as vegetarianism, yoga, ayurvedic healing, and Indian religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Namaste simply means all that is best and highest in me greets/salutes all that is best and highest in you.

~Namaste~
